My Best Friend's Wedding

My Best friend is getting married this weekend. I feel disappointed that I couldn't make it. But I also missed my bro's wedding, and to be fair, I missed Niza's wedding too (I was heavily pregnant waiting to pop at that time) and so I can safely say, my life (wedding-attending wise) is full of disappointment. I LOVE weddings.. I love how the mood love conquers all, love saves the day, all those lovey-dovey feeling is entwined with the oxygen that I breath on wedding days. I love how two person, being so in love, finally commit to be husband and wife, and to never be apart for as long as they shall live (until death do them part lah of course), for eternity, etc...(isi tempat kosong). But what I really love most is the food ;). I adore those mouth-watering nasi minyak and ayam masak merah... And these food taste better when it's served on a wedding day. Sob..sob..(mak, nak nasi minyak and ayam masak merah please, tolong pos ke Perth)

But thruth be told, missing my best friend's most significant day of her life is sad. To see her pass through this life-changing point in her life without me there is sad. In a way, I feel left out. Left out from the experience, from her memory. Is this going to be the start of a beautiful friendship falling apart? (fikiran dah merepek, hahah, maklumlah, bangun sahur kan) But I shouldn't be sad. I should be happy for her. If she's anything like me, she wouldn't care if I wasn't around. (i was soo self-absorbed, all i could think of on my wedding day was how pretty I should look and of course it's hard to notice who's there and who's not, right?), I mean, not that she doesn't care (like I don't give a damn kinda care) but I know it won't bother her. Cause it's the happiest day of her life (well, one of the happiest lah...wait till she have kids, and then THAT'll be her happiest day kot) and I'm sure (eventhough I might be missed ;p) she'll have a ball, looking all gorgeous in that gold dress, and all ready to be Mrs Ikhwan. Speaking of which, I remembered them coming to my wedding (baru couple tak silap) all lovey-dovey..they even hold hands in my wedding photo. Good times, kan babe? (if she reads this la, knowing newly-weds, tahun dpn kot baru baca blog, busy with something else ;p).

p/s- I'll be coming home in Dec, is there anyone getting married in Dec that I can go to? Make sure the menu is nasi minyak and ayam masak merah ye ;p (poyo je..hahaha).

p/p/s - Seriously whoever wants to get married please get married this Dec.. (;p) I'm tired of having to miss anymore weddings...Anyone? Somebody? Anyone at all?
